Steve Lungrin is an internationally known singer-songwriter, independent recording artist, performer, and web based piano teacher. A life long singer, and piano player from the age of 7, Steve has been performing professionally for over 25 years. Inspired by all the great singer-songwriters of the '60's, '70's, and '80's, particularly Billy Joel & Elton John, Steve has been honing his craft as a player, singer, and writer since his adolescence. As a soloist or as part of various ensembles, he has performed at the Greeley, CO Jazz Festival, Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, MO, Canadian Wonderland in Toronto, ON (Canada), the White House lawn in Washington, DC, and Carnegie Hall in New York City to name a few. He was the first ever Cornhusker State Games Talent Competition Gold Medalist in 1995 where he performed his signature song, Billy Joel's "Piano Man", for over 5,000 people at the age of 17.
He founded LearningMusicIsFun.com in 2011, where he has passed on the techniques and systems he uses as a piano player to thousands of players from dozens of countries on every inhabited continent in the world. He maintains a busy schedule live performances every year traveling to multiple states, as well as regularly releasing new studio albums of original songs and compilation albums of cover song performances, while also continuing to create new educational material for his international student and fan base.
